Ondřej Vlček

Ondřej Vlček began his career at the technology giant Avast as a temporary worker and over 25 years worked his way up to the position of CEO of the company. Under his leadership, Avast became a global leader in cybersecurity, culminating in its merger with NortonLifeLock, which created a new global entity, Gen Digital. As president of the company, Ondřej played a key role in this integration and growth until 2024, when he decided to leave and start a new startup.

Ondřej Vlček is an internationally recognized expert in computer security and holds several awards, including the title of Manager of the Year from Forbes Czech Republic for 2021.

In addition to his successes in the technology sector, Ondřej Vlček is known for his philanthropic activities. Together with his wife Katarína, he founded the Vlček Family Foundation, which focuses on the development of palliative care for seriously ill children. Their foundation received the highest donation in the history of Czech philanthropy, enabling significant projects in healthcare and support for families of children with incurable diseases.
