Martin Bareš

Prof. MUDr. Martin Bareš, Ph.D., has served as the Rector of Masaryk University since 2019. He is a renowned expert in neurology, with a deep focus on movement disorders, including Parkinson's disease and dystonia. His academic career includes leadership roles such as the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University and Vice-Rector for Development and Academic Affairs.
