Jakub Železný

Jakub Železný is one of the most prominent figures in Czech television journalism. He has been working at Czech Television since 1999, where he has hosted several important programs, including Události (Events) and Události, komentáře (Events, Commentary).

He began his career at Czech Radio, where he worked for almost 20 years. During his television career, he has hosted a variety of discussion programs and special broadcasts, including election debates. Železný is known for his analytical approach and precision in moderating.

He received his education at the Faculty of Arts at Palacký University in Olomouc and at the Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles University, where he now lectures. In addition to his journalistic work, he is involved in cultural projects and has published several works on architecture and modern art.
